  NO online lectures or assessment submission, having to drive an hour into the city just to hand in a piece of paper is insane in this day in age with all the technology available.

  Here do I leave off saying this. Theology is meant to engage with faith. It ought to justify faith and provide true warrant which will equip the training theologian to defend the faith. Sad news is that this university does not do so and thus falls flat on its face.

  Having first attended here, the School of Theology and Philosophy were not too bad. However as my study continued I noticed the flaws and lack of depth found in theology classes. I really wish i did not come to this university. Theology is not a study of God as it ought to be. Rather it is about pastoral council and the administration of God's work to a lay person. Furthermore, I came to the university with faith and left with less of it. Theology is not indepthly explained, the doctrines of the church, the principle beliefs, the sacraments, all of it. Nothing of the Catholic faith is truly explained. There is no study of ascetical theology. It is all about Vatican II council and all its hogde bodge. On the contrary, the lecturers here do not show God's love (as it says in scripture that they will know us Christians by our love - John 13:35) They donot treat kindly, they think are omniscient, higher than all because they have PHDs (which makes them unapproachable) and are quite bias and have favourites. They donot consider the pace of all other students.

  Notre Dame University Sydney unfortunately does not provide good administrative services especially with the School of Philosophy and Theology. It makes it difficult to attend University and have a smooth education process. Unfortunately the complaint process is also not adequate and issues are not resolved. Other than the poor administrative services the University is ok and most services are adequate. I wish my experience with administration was better.
